How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Rock Hill, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added The Dixie Pig, City Barbeque and Gardner’s from the state’s SC Food Grades inspection database and their own sites; where a place has no website of its own, or its page would not load, a 2026 inspection record confirms it is operating. We left off Shane’s Rib Shack on Old York Road, which does not appear on the chain’s locations page, and Bats BBQ, which has no 2026 inspection record. The list is alphabetical. The places

City Barbeque is the barbecue chain’s Rock Hill restaurant, on Old York Road in Newport. Its locator would not show the store for us, so we confirmed it through an Aug. 25, 2026, state inspection record. Check the chain’s site or app for hours.

The Dixie Pig on Celanese Road says its owner opened it in April 2015 to serve Rock Hill and Fort Mill. Its menu lists pulled pork, chopped brisket, barbecue hash and a pork sundae layered with pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad, alongside wings and catfish. It caters and takes online orders, and it posts its holiday closings on its site.

Gardner’s BBQ and Hash on Mockingbird Lane has no website we could find. A Sept. 4, 2026, state inspection record confirms it is operating at 4293 Mockingbird Lane. Call or stop in for hours.

Sonny’s BBQ is the barbecue chain’s Cherry Road restaurant. Its site says its meats are slow-smoked over oak in-house every day, and the location offers dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.
