Rock Hill’s restaurants gather in a few places: Old Town on Main Street and White Street, Cherry Road north from Winthrop University, Herlong Avenue, Celanese Road and Dave Lyle Boulevard, Riverwalk on the Catawba River and Newport on Old York Road. These pages list them by what they serve.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Rock Hill, the same data behind our local directory, plus places confirmed in the state’s SC Food Grades inspection database. Each was checked against its own website on Oct. 12, 2026; hours are printed only as the place itself publishes them. Every list is alphabetical. The lists

Where to get wings. Eight places at 10 locations, from WingBonz on Cinema Drive and Oakland Avenue to Hickory Tavern and The Dixie Pig on Celanese Road and the chains on Dave Lyle Boulevard.

Where to get pizza. Twelve pizza businesses at 18 locations: wood-fired pizza at Millstone in Old Town, Richie’s Italian Bistro at Riverwalk, three Empire Pizza shops and the delivery chains.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Sixteen restaurants at 18 locations, with Ay Papi and Rock Taco on Main Street, Tony’s Cantina at Riverwalk and a run of cantinas on Cherry Road, Herlong Avenue and Dave Lyle Boulevard.

Where to get barbecue. Four places: Sonny’s BBQ on Cherry Road, The Dixie Pig on Celanese Road, City Barbeque in Newport and Gardner’s BBQ and Hash.

Breakfast and coffee. Fifteen places at 17 locations, from Biscuitville and Eggs Up Grill to Knowledge Perk and Bad Ass Coffee on White Street and three Waffle Houses.

Where to get burgers. Seven burger restaurants at eight locations, including Burgers and Barley near Winthrop and Nash & Smashed’s halal counter in Newport.

Sushi and Asian restaurants. Twenty-four sushi, hibachi, Chinese, Thai, ramen and poke restaurants, most of them on Cherry Road, Herlong Avenue and Celanese Road.

Ice cream and desserts. Eleven shops, including Inside Scoop Creamery at Riverwalk, PW’s Ice Cream on South Herlong Avenue and the dessert shops at The Perch on Cherry Road.

Bakeries. Eight bakeries, from Amelie’s French Bakery and Cafe in Old Town to cake, doughnut and bread shops on Cherry Road, Mount Gallant Road and India Hook Road.

Patios and outdoor dining. Eight restaurants and bars whose own sites list a patio or rooftop, including The Pump House and 354 SkyBar rooftops.
