Rock Hill’s public schools are run by Rock Hill Schools, formally York School District 3, from its district office at 386 E. Black St., 803-981-1000. Its 22 schools on this page had 15,765 students in 2024-25, according to the state’s 2025 report card data. Four public charter schools, one of them sponsored by the district, also have Rock Hill addresses.

Zones do not follow city limits. Find the elementary, middle and high school for any address with the School Zone Locator, a York County tool linked from the district’s Find My School page. In our Oct. 12 check of about 3,000 points spread evenly across Rock Hill’s city limits, every one fell in a Rock Hill Schools zone in York County’s attendance boundary data. Most elementary zones split between two or three middle schools, so check the exact address.

Each school’s page has its address, phone, principal, enrollment, report card, zone, feeder schools, calendar and bell times. For the district calendar, enrollment dates and the school board, see our Rock Hill schools guide. How each school’s rating changed from 2025 is in our story on the 2026 report cards for every Rock Hill school.
