How admission works

Legion Collegiate has no attendance zone. From its admissions page:

  • Application window: opens in early January and stays open through late January; exact dates are set and posted each year.
  • Lottery: if applicants outnumber the seats in a program, class, grade or building, an electronic lottery decides. There is no appeal from lottery results.
  • Notifications: sent by email by the end of February. Applications received after the January deadline go into the pool for later lotteries as seats open.
  • What to send: rising ninth graders upload a screenshot of current classes and grades; rising 10th to 12th graders send an unofficial transcript. Each child needs a separate application.
  • Expectations: final enrollment depends on final course grades, and students are expected to earn and keep a 3.0 average.
  • Current students: do not reapply, but must complete an Intent to Return form each year.
